Who is JPEG?
John P Golden is a cartoonist based in Savannah, GA. He graduated the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sequential art in 2014, and has since worked on comics for Boom Studios, Webtoon, and a number of smaller publications.
His work is largely inspired by classic American cartoonists like Alex Toth and Hal Foster, and Manga artists such as Go Nagai and Katsuya Terada. These mismatched influences create a unique style that lends itself well to the adventure/comedy, which John considers his specialty. His favorite food is eggs, and he will try to pet any stray cats he comes across.
